Spatial Control was a performance that connected the audience to the architecture of the space. In this work, the audience was wrapped with tape. The threads that connected each individual created sensory intersubjectivity: any tug or tension on the string created awareness of one’s neighbor. The work constructed a temporary architecture with the audience as material.
